After it became a surprise cult-classic, ASICS took time to re-work their SUPERBLAST trainer and refine what was to many an almost-perfect shoe.
Given the positive success the model had received, ASICS were careful not to change too much—instead opting to tweak some details whilst retaining the core of what made SUPERBLAST V1 so successful. The midsole is now equipped with FF TURBO+™ foam, stacked on top of FF BLAST+™ ECO for a fantastic ride that's even more responsive than the original SUPERBLAST.
The concept of evolution is also applied to the uppers, with a refined design of the engineered mesh giving the SUPERBLAST 2 a softer feeling with improved fit. The result is a shoe that contains all the hallmarks which made SUPERBLAST so popular, with improvements which elevate the original concept.
