Underfoot, the same zero-drop feel which Altra is known for combines with Altra's "Standard FootShape™" which is narrower than their "Original" fit but still far more roomy than anything you'll find almost anywhere else. The EGO™ Max midsole offers fantastic cushioning, ensuring you won't have any worries putting in a long day. A Vibram® LiteBase outsole adds grip and cuts weight.
The uppers are constructed with engineered mesh around the toe for comfort and breathability, whilst around the mid-section and heel an ultra-light fabric reduces weight where it's unnecessary. Rubber reinforcement around the toe reduces abrasion and protects against tears, allowing you to enjoy the trail without worrying. The BOA edition uses the namesake securing system to allow for a secure, customisable fit free from laces.
