adidas made their super shoe even more super. Released with the tagline "illegally fast" the adizero Prime X 2 continues adidas' foray into uncharted territories. With a whopping 50mm heel stack and innovative STRUNG upper, the adizero Prime X 2 STRUNG is a no-holds-barred moon-shot of a shot.
STRUNG is a textile innovation which transforms athlete data into a dynamic material, tuned to the athlete's needs. Through the technology it's possible to map and program different fibre properties thread-by-thread. With a flexible and lightweight seamless cocoon feeling around the foot, the STRUNG upper helps optimise your comfort and supports you to set new PRs for long-distance runs.
The real magic happens under-foot with a newly updated adaptation of the winning Lightstrike Pro foam. Within the midsole, there's a total of three layers of Lightstrike Pro sandwiching not one but two composite plates. The combination works together in order to deliver a bouncy, responsive feel with no pesky regulations holding it back.
