We were lucky enough to get our hands on another offering from Mizuno's performance lineup, the Neo Zen 2.
It's a lightweight shoe ideal for daily training and suitable for a wide range of runners. Compared to its predecessor, it's upper has been completely redesigned with a now ultra soft and dynamic combination of engineered mesh and knit, providing a breathable yet secure fit.
Underfoot, the midsole combines nitrogen-infused MIZUNO ENERZY NXT TPU foam on top with MIZUNO ENERZY NXT EVA foam beneath. This fusion delivers bouncy cushioning with a slightly denser feel, resulting in a responsive ride and a touch more stability than the first-generation model. A gently tuned Smooth Speed Assist geometry supports comfortable everyday training and promotes smoother transitions, while the outsole features X10 Mizuno carbon rubber for improved durability in high-impact areas and enhanced heel traction.
