The Kjerag 02 is designed for fast trail and mountain running where efficiency and ground feel matter. It’s the more responsive, lower-profile option in the range, suited to quicker efforts and more consistent pacing on technical terrain. The Matryx® Light jacquard upper keeps weight down while still holding structure through the foot, with a close fit that feels locked in once you’re moving. A simple lace-up system keeps the fit straightforward and secure.
Underfoot, the EExpure+ midsole uses a supercritical TPEE foam that feels firm and reactive, keeping you close to the ground and moving efficiently through each stride. A Vibram® Litebase outsole with Megagrip rubber provides reliable grip across rock and mixed trail, without unnecessary bulk. The 3.5mm lugs are kept low to favour smoother transitions and stable footing on harder-packed ground, while still offering enough grip when the surface breaks up.
