The Sylan 2 is Arc'teryx's trail runner for speeding through the mountains, built around a propulsive ride that helps keep things efficient when the pace picks up. The rockered midsole rolls from heel to toe, while the responsive supercritical foam is designed to return energy and reduce fatigue over longer efforts.
A superlight engineered woven upper keeps airflow moving, with an integrated flat-knit tongue and collar helping with foot containment and keeping debris out. A carbon-fibre plate adds stability across uneven ground, while the Vibram® Megagrip outsole uses LITEBASE technology and stepped lugs to provide traction on dirt and mud while shedding excess weight.
