Mizuno's Hyperwarp Elite 2 is the brand's top-tier road racer, built for elite and top-elite runners chasing a PB. It's the one for race day, whether that's a half, a full marathon or a tempo effort that needs to feel as good as the real thing.
The midsole is a dual-layer MIZUNO ENERZY system. The top layer is the new XP+, which keeps the soft, bouncy feel of XP while shedding weight, and the original XP sits underneath. A full-length 3D Smooth Speed Plate (SSP) carbon plate works with the foam to drive propulsion and keep the ride stable and controlled, with a 38.5mm heel and a 3mm drop.
Up top, a lightweight mesh upper is made for racing, with breathability, flexibility and a locked-down fit at pace. Underneath, the G3 outsole uses a segmented resin layout to give you grip without adding weight.
