Pushing the boundaries of what is considered a professional running team, their purpose within society and what lane they should swim in, plus putting a modern spin on the worlds most accessible sport. Tinman Elite is a professional running team built on the philosophy of “Chop Wood, Carry Water”, a metaphor for how hard work reaps incremental reward. Based out of Boulder, Colorado, the team, backed by adidas Running, has evolved to comprise of twelve runners from different nations. In their short but prosperous existence TME have managed to create a certain air of popularity and 'coolness' – for lack of a better word – around running. Through YouTube training videos and limited merchandise drops the running youth and stars of tomorrow can't get enough of this ragtag group of young men chasing their dreams.

Tinman Elite have leveraged their existing relationship with adidas and put their spin on the popular, recently reinvented, Boston 10. Like the general release, the Tinman edition comprises of a layer of both Lightstrike, adidas’s EVA foam, and their premium Pebax/EVA offering, Lightstrike Pro. With a 39mm stack height and 8mm drop, the Boston 10 offers a much firmer and in turn more stable ride. Sandwiched between the layers of foam is a carbon heel plate and adidas’s signature carbon-infused ‘Energy Rods’, shaped to mimic the bone structure of the foot. The outer sole includes Continental rubber, offering superior traction across varying surfaces, perfect for those endless dirts roads in Boulder. Whilst that covers the foundation of the shoe itself, Tinman's flare can be seen all over this crisp white, black and gold rendition. With subtle nods to the groups ethos and guiding principles as well as some more obvious inclusions of their signature axe motif.
