The adidas x Yohji Yamamoto partnership, known as Y-3, is a pioneer of the athletic and fashion crossover.
The Y-3 Running Jacket is a modern example of this as it reveals a bevy of subtly stylish details beneath its stealthy black appearance. Designed for exercise, the jacket features a number of adjustable zips and toggles at the hood, front and hem to dial in the fit. The fabric is also noteworthy for its spray dye technique that resembles abstract watercolour patterns, and is left with raw edges on some of the panels to subtly age over time.
